Chain Writing - Altogether

Once upon a time, there was a young lady with an even younger cat as a pet. As time passed, they got bored of their common life. So, they decided to go to Africa to see some interesting animals such as the running zebra. As they were in Africa, the young cat started to meow as if she saw a ghost. The young lady understood. The young little cat was not used to the changed environment of Africa.

The young lady, who really loved her young cat, decided to leave Africa for her little cat. However, she just wanted one picture of a live, running, excited zebra. For the picture that she wanted, she waited for days and days, but could not find the scenery she wanted. As time passed, her little cat looked weaker and weaker by the second.

One day, when the young lady woke up, she found coldness on the spot her cat used to stay. She was so surprised that she couldn't breathe. She had to find her beloved little kitten. She ran out of her bed and started looking for her cat.

The young lady did this for hours and hours but couldn't find her cat. She was heartbroken and regretted taking her to Africa. She also regretted not leaving when the cat had to and concentrating too much on Zebras.

There, she was on her bed, silent and heartbroken. Then, she heard a small, but significantly her cat's MEOW. She went to the back of her tent, where she heard the sound. There, she could see that her cat has just arrived there with what her owner wanted the most, a live, running, exciting, and additionally, happy Zebra. The cat was looking weak because she was disappointed that she couldn't fulfil her owner's needs.

The owner, the young lady started to cry of, fright, joy, and the love she felt from her cat. She took a picture of the Zebra and her cat playing, and went back home to give her cat as much experience as possible.

Reflective Essay on....What adults can learn from kids

Hello, ladies and gentlemen bloggers? I am logged into my log AGAIN for my next writing assignment, writing a reflective essay. Today, we were allowed to choose a topic between "spring, summer, fall, winter, and spring" and a TED talk called "What Adults can learn from kids" by a girl named Adora Svitack. Among those both interesting topics, I chose "What Adults Can Learn From Kids" as my reflective essay topic. I think my life and my opinion relates to this video a lot.

Adora Svitak, the speaker of "What Adults Can learn from Kids", is a now 14 years old - 12 when she was in TED- blogger who started blogging and posting since she was in her kindergarten age, when she first got her little laptop as a present from her parents. She tells us in her TED presentation that adults need to learn from kids to have an open mind and dreaming things that adults think that are impossible. In other words, adults should learn to make impossible possible.

I agree with Miss Svitak's opinion about what adults must learn from kid that they think are too full of hope and dreams. I always feel that most adults have less imagination, hope, dream, and all the other stuff that one needs to have in order to live a happy and interesting life rather than a cold and moody life.

There are two reasons why I can look back in my life and agree with Miss Svitak's opinion on adults.

First, most adults do not have wonderful and powerful dreams that can bring them up whenever they fail. They are too used to living a dry life, a life that they need to live rather than what they want to live. They DO need more hope to live the world happily enough to bring themselves up in their hardest times.

Second, kids dream the future, the hope, and the wishes they have. In kids' dreams, they can be a musketeer, a pilot, a princess, or a wizard. Adults ca't be any of those even in their dreams.

Adora Svitak has a good point of adults needing to learn soething from kids in my opinion. I hope a world that adults leaned to dream, wish, and hope for their future came. Here in the bottom, there is the TED I'm talking about. Please enjoy the video, and see you soon!!^^

Kony 2012

Hello, ladies and gentlemen? I am Miss Cat, logged into her blog again to write her second assignment. I hope that you all will find my second assignment interesting!!

Today, in my essay, I want to mention a very serious topic. To start with, let me ask you a question. Have you ever heard of Kony 2012? Have you ever heard of Jopseph Kony? If you are shaking your head 'NO' at the computer, stop it before someone thinks you are mad and please scroll down concentrating in my essay to find out more about one of the world's worst criminals, Joseph Kony.

The topic of this essay today is "Is it right to make a criminal like Kony famous by using movie clips such as "Kony 2012?". My answer to this topic is...YES.

I will first introduce what "Kony 2012" is, and who Joseph Kony is.

Did you see that picture? That is Joseph Kony. He is from Uganda, Africa. He is the leader of a group called L.R.A, the symbol of Lord's Resistant Army. Yes. Making an army that stands against the government might be illegal. However, today, I want to emphasize an even bigger and worse crime Kony has commited. He has taken away people's freedom, and even more, lives. Who were the victims? The victims were innocent Ugandan children. What did Kony make them do? He forced Ugandan children to become a part of the L.R.A. He forced them to grab a gun and kill their parents and all the people that stands in front of the L.R.A.

Kony 2012 is a short movie clip that tells you what Kony has been doing to the Ugandan kids and the Ugandan society. It's maker knows a kid named Jacob, who is a victim of Joseph Kony's crimes. The L.R.A chopped off his brother's neck in front of him, and made Jacob himself a member of the L.R.A youth army. He was running for his life. The maker made the video and got donations to make Kony famous and to stop his evil crimes that makes him deserved to get hanged in the public.

Now, here are my reasons why I argue that making a video like Kony 2012 to make a criminal like Kony famous is a right thing to do.

First, people should know the criminal in order to stop him. Joseph Kony is a criminal that must be stopped, and stopped as fast as we can. In order to do so, people should know how brutal his crimes are. The maker of this video did his best to fulfil that needs. We shouldn't blame him for wanting to catch Joseph Kony.

Second, the blame of the criticism is that the video was taken in 2003, and that Joseph Kony is not in his acton these days. However, how can you say that he will never start acting again? No one can prove that. I think this video is just a warning to the world to protect the Ugandan children from Joseph Kony.

Do you understand what is happening to the Ugandan children? Kony is threatening their lives to be against the Ugandan government. I do not think it isn't a thing to think deeply about whether or not we should make him famous. the word has a right and a reason to know what is happening in the other part of the world.
Joseph Kony has to be stopped, and tat is for sure. On December 31st, you can be the force to stop Joseph Kony.
Here is the blog URL for Invisible Children, which is the organization that tries to stop Kony. Visit the blog, and you will know why I think that making Kony 2012 to make Kony famous is a right thing.

I truly believe that making Kony famous by Kony 2012 is a rightful thing. This is a thing that is worth being a part of.

Thank you for reading, ladies and gentlemen!!!

Three things I Know to be True^^

  Hello, ladies and gentlemen?

I am Catherine Kim, nicknamed Miss Cat. It's already the time for our first assignment. I hope you'l enjoy mine!!

There are some things I know to be true. Today, I will introduce only three of those. It was a very hard time choosing only three of all the facts that I want to introduce to all of you. In this post, I will talk about Kayagum, my rabbits, and camp GLPS.

The first thing I know to be true is that playing Kayagum relaxes me. I have played Gayakum for 2 years since I was in the 3rd grade. I have been enjoying playing it although my fingers sometimes gets swollen. Some don't understand me. However, I love the sound of Kayagum and I feel confident every time I achieve to finish another song perfectly.

Another thing that I know to be true is that my rabbits are naughty (very naughty), but they still make me feel proud of them. Although they sometimes try to bite me or stink in the summer without washing (which I can't help them about since they are not allowed to be soaked in water for their health), when they doze into their dream lands, or when they follow me all around the house, I feel proud about my smart little long eared devils. I can't help ending up smiling at them.

눈토끼 (Lepus timidus)

The third, or the last thing I know to be true is that..... I enjoy being at this place, camp GLPS!!!!^^ Although I often think attending this camp is harsh with all the assignment that is given to me, writing all my diaries, and doing my Mom's assignments, I am still very happy to be able to be here, studying as much as I want.

Today, I introduced you to the three things I know to be true. I also want to know what you know to be true.
  Thank you for reading.
